Birthday Card

Birthday cards are fun to make . . . .
DETAILS: Real Red, Basic Black & Whisper White cardstock; Basic Black classic ink; Birthday Cuttlebug embossing folder; black&white gingham ribbon; It's Your Birthday stamp set; sticky strip & dimensionals; square punch.

We're all going to a 7 year old's birthday party on a local farm today, so I finished the card this morning. It's tough to shop for a 7 year old boy when my oldest is a 4 year old girl!

I thought I'd show you how I wrapped his present. I found a picnic tablecloth in the $1 spot at Target and thought that would make great wrapping paper for the barn theme. I also used raffia to tie it all together, and I stamped his name on the envelope to finish the package. Although, now that I'm looking at it, I'm afraid it may blend into the table when we get there! ha ha . . . .

For some reason, I'm thinking I may have CASEd this card design, but honestly, I wasn't even online looking at samples when I created it. If it's yours & posted on your blog, I'm sorry! Let me know and I'll give you credit.

This card is so pretty and simple. I love all the "white" space!
