My new watermark!

I just figured out how to add a watermark to my photos! If you are interested in getting your own unique watermark, check out Freckled Fun Designs. She was SUPER fast in creating mine & the designs are just beautiful! She also designs blog banners. I've included her site in my list to the right of "Favorite Sites."

Here's the other one she created:

I've edited my photos below . . . .

Name Frames

I love to make "name frames" for baby gifts. This is one I made for friends in Florida who just had their first baby girl. Lilyana is already a couple of months old, so I need to get this in the mail!

Details: I used decorative papers from the Winter Mini that is no longer available (sorry!). I also used Rose Red, Whisper White, and Chocolate Chip card stock. I stamped the odd rectangle from All the Best in Pretty in Pink and the letters in Chocolate Chip. I used the 2 way glue pen to adhere Dazzling Diamonds to the letters for the glam effect. (I hope you can tell in the 2nd photo -- click on it to make it larger.) Then I added Hodgepodge Hardware and pink gingham & Certainly Celery ribbon to complete the gift.

Cool Carribean

My NEW favorite color is Cool Carribean. I love how elegant it looks paired with Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. This card uses those three basic colors. Using the "long pocket notes" available in the Spring Mini, I created a simple, yet elegant sympathy card.

Details: In order to get the chocolate chip ribbon through the card near the fold, I used the rectangle punch. The oval is from one of the Accents and Elements tin -- a must have for making quick cards since they're self-adhesive. The background is the paisley stamp from Polka Dots and Paisley (Spring Mini), embossed in vanilla.

PS I'll be working on my scans to make them more clear in the future.

My first entry in the blogosphere!

I have finally decided to join the bandwagon, so to speak, of blogging. I already have a list of my favorite bloggers in my computer bookmarks, so maybe you have the same? I hope this site will be added to your list.

What I truly hope this blog will do is inspire and teach you how to create cards and other projects with rubber stamps. As a Stampin' Up demonstrator for 4 years now, there's nothing I like better than to create a card or gift with my stamps and great tools at home! Ok, well, what I like better than that is sharing the idea with someone else!

Welcome to my stamping adventure. Will you come along with me?
